    About the Broadway Center
    The Broadway Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and manages the largest complex of theaters between Seattle and Portland: Pantages Theater (seating 1169, built in 1918, and restored in 1983); the Rialto Theater (seating 739, also built in 1918, and restored 1991); and Theatre on the Square (seating 302, built in 1993).

    The Broadway Center is recognized for its leadership in presenting world-class performing artists, providing one of the largest performing arts education programs in Washington State - serving over 51,000 students, teachers, and parents annually in the South Sound, including deep levels of service with our Kennedy Center Partners, the Bethel, Puyallup, and Tacoma School Districts - and preserving Tacoma's historic theaters.

    The Broadway Center is proud to provide a vital home to Tacoma's Resident Arts Organizations that form the core of the performing arts in the South Puget Sound region: Northwest Sinfonietta; Puget Sound Revels; Tacoma City Ballet; Tacoma Concert Band; Tacoma Opera; Tacoma Symphony Orchestra; and Tacoma Youth Symphony Association.

    TRCVB MISSION: To execute initiatives that deliver Tourism to Pierce County.

    About the Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor’s Bureau:
    The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau [TRCVB] is the official destination marketing organization for Pierce County, Washington. The TRCVB is a private non-profit destination marketing organization funded by hotel/motel lodging taxes and assessments and membership dues to bring tourism to Pierce County. The TRCVB works with leisure travelers, meeting planners and group tour operators to make choosing Tacoma + Pierce County easy.

In partnership with PepsiCo Foodservice, the Faces of Diversity Awards program honors individuals in the restaurant industry who have realized the American Dream through hard work, determination and enterprise.

    The NRA will award three individuals with the American Dream award. This award honors individuals from diverse backgrounds who have realized the American Dream through hard work and determination.

    The winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC, where they will be honored at an awards ceremony. In addition to the ceremony, a $2,500 scholarship will be made in the name of each winner to an aspiring student pursuing a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. A video is also produced of each winner to showcase his/her achievements.

    Business Examiner

    Business Examiner Media Group's 40 Under Forty program recognizes outstanding South Sound business and community leaders under the age of 40. Each class of 40 Under Forty represents the diversity and excellence of the South Sound and includes those who have made great accomplishments and significant contributions to their businesses, industries and communities. An alumni panel reviews the candidates to provide direction in the selection of the 40.
